Dr. Shea Bess discusses the physics and chemistry of curing lights, bonding technology, and optimal clinical esthetic technique from a materials perspective. 

Dr. Shea Bess graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Medical Biology. He obtained his DDS from Loma Linda University in 2002. He started his practice from scratch in February of 2003 and has maintained a full time practice ever since. He was a part time employee for Ultradent Products Inc. for 17 years and worked in the Research and Development department. Dr. Bess lectures on various topics on restorative dentistry at dental schools and regional CE courses throughout the United States. 

He has provided dentistry in Fiji and Guatemala, and serves locally at Give Kids A Smile annually to help underprivileged children with their dental needs. He worked part-time for a few years, with the Navajo Nation to provide dental care to Native Americans in Southern Utah.
