Dr. Paula Elmi, endodontist and Executive Coach, discusses how to avoid burn as a clinician, using emotional intelligence in fostering better communication in the office and attaining the best possible work-life balance.
Dr. Paula Elmi is a certified executive leadership coach and board-certified Harvard-trained endodontist who helps her clients optimize their professional and personal lives in order to allow those components to work with each other, not against each other. Many of her clients have a track record of outward professional success but have experienced some level of disconnection with the passion and meaning that started them on their professional journeys.
Like many others in her field, Paula has, at times, experienced both mental and physical aspects of professional burn out. During her career, she has immersed herself in the practice of endodontics and leadership in organized dentistry on the local and state levels, worked in over 20 different dental offices, and became an independent provider of continuing education. It was through these experiences that she realized the need for strategies to reconnect her clients with their passion for their profession and remove the blocks that prevent them from the enjoying the intrinsic value of their work.
Through Paula’s focused, no-nonsense approach, her clients are able to create the sustainable success so they can make the impact they desire. Connect with her at firstname.lastname@example.org or www.linkedin.com/in/paulaelmi.
